Ninon is one of the first drags in Bolivia. In the seventies, Victor Hugo started to go out with the more influential gay rights activists in La Paz, Bolivia. They did not only contributed to gay rights through their manifests, but also gave an impulse to Bolivian culture through their use of traditional female costumes and dances to attract attention. Now Victor Hugo, called Ninon by all hi friends, owns a renowned hair salon in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, while at the same time holding a lawyer office, mostly to help people with little money and to support equal rights.
